I have a CZ 452 Scout that is my daughters. I am needing it threaded. Any suggestions. I talked to ADCO and they said it would be $140~$160 not counting shipping. That is almost what I gave for then gun. lol

A good and proper threading job and cheap, so expect to pay something like that for any trustworthy shop with a good reputation to do it.

Can't do "cheap" threading for "cheap" guns, LOL.  Ain't calling your CZ cheap, BTW.

Around $100 is a fair price, some places will take you to the bank though. The guy I use charges $75.

The CZ452 Scout has a front sight, so it would cost more than a regular ol' threading job to do this particular rifle.

I will contact those guys and see what they charge. I do not mind paying for a job done right.

The ADCO price was on the uper end of fair to me but adding in the shipping it would be around $200.00 which I think is way too much.

Talked to Curtis Wilbanks who has a gunsmith shop outside of Toccoa Ga. He said he does barrel threading for suppressors for $45.00 and to relocate a front sight would be $25.00

He said his threads are concentric to the bore. Mr. Wilbanks said "I will do it right or not doing it at all."

Here is his website, http://www.guncustomizing.com/

Probably going to see him one day next week. Also going to see if he can tighten up the spread on my 18" 12ga 870 barrel shooting 00 Buck.

On the scattergun, having it backbored and lengthening the forcing cones will do the trick.  I've had several 870's done over the years, I use Vang Comp for the work.

Yes thats what I originally wanted to do. Going to talk to Mr Wilbanks and see what he can do. My barrel is cylinder bore so dont know if the back-boring can be done.
