hmmm...3 hrs is a long way to drive. Ridge, any idea on the guy in Nicholasville? I checked the yellow pgs but didn't find anything

I think Bushmaster will do the smithing for free if you purchase their supressor. I know they will if you purchase a stripped receiver to swap out. They told me that all I would have to pay for is the shipping, $15.

I'm in Lexington, I'm sending my one barrel that needs threading to Adco. They do fantastic work, and very quickly too.

I know Antique and Modern have a resident smith, not sure if he can do the threading or not, but I refuse to give those jack asses any of my business.

JT Distributing in Winchester told me they would thread and repark my AR barrel for $30, with a two to three week turn around time.

thanks for the replies! I completely agree with the Antique & Modern slam...bunch of pompous asses over there. I called JT last week because my wife has a doublestar...hers is gonna cost $30 but they won't touch mine--they're not set up for 308. I guess I'll be sending off to ADCO even though I hate dealing with businesses out of the local area.
