Anyone have one who can part with one for around 50 bucks (going price on gunbroker), or know forsure of a shop around the metro area (gwinnett area) who's got one.  I'm in need of one. I hate to wait for mail order if I don't have to..

Thanks
Charles

Yeah we read.... "I read that before you changed it".... What county are you in... C3sports in Paulding has some for 100.00 and Jkiser in Hiram has them as well.."good ones 125.00"
I would much rather us start off on a good note... Trashing someone that is trying to help you will get you alienated and maybe banned...
Friendly advice: Check it or someone less nice than me will wreck it....

No one's trashing you.. I looked through the EE but everyone was offering mail order... What I am really looking for here is for someone to say hey, I have one, I'll sell it to you, OR, I saw one in acme gunshop in norcross for $xx.xx... NOT check the EE.. If you don't have one, fine.. Thanks for looking..

Kinda, I own a colt, but this is my first SBR build.. Have a CMMG 7.3 upper that's going to be her tuesday, but the one thing I don't have yet is the carry handle.  Thought about getting a scope, and probably will eventually, but I don't have the cash to spring for one right now.. The upper pretty much broke me. Pretty much all most range ready except for the carry handle.. Sorry if I was being an ass earlier..

I'll try to send the files again. It wouldn't go through the first time because the files were probably too large. Oh what a glorious time we had! You should have seen us!

Clyde 's in Athens has Cardenal forge for $90.00 and several with a key hole for $80.00.

They looked new, there were several in two boxes.

ahh. milled.. never seen one.. I was wondering why there weren't any rivits in the trunions.. The one I built is just a bent flat, probably not as durable as a milled one though... I got your IM.. Thanks for the heads up.

Actually you are kinda backwards, The Russians changed from milled to stamped for a couple reasons, 1 is it was cheaper and faster to make a stamped reciever, and the other was cause the stamped gave more flex, as the milled would crack due to the stiffness. Where in ga are you?

Yah, it's hardened properly... once to make it hard, a second time to make it not so brittle. The one I built was one of the romy tapco kits before the barrel ban..
