Weeknights are tough for me but I'll try my best to make it out and see my old friend Hank!

went and listened to his stuff, sounds pretty good! definitely representative of good ol' new york style hardcore. |

excellent! thanks! the boys and i are taking off out of memphis late tuesday/early wednesday, so we will hopefully make it in by late wednesday, show thursday, hang out till friday evening, and we'll be back out that night. going to be a whirlwind trip! c'mon, frank, you know ya wanna!

Heres my $.05 review.
 Take a journey...On a Dead Machine. The CD is almost subliminal as it slowly creeps into your senses and takes over. Truely a unique sound. I can tell that this CD is going to spend a lot of time in my CD player. Thanks STRATS for buying it for me!  Had a GREAT time. The band is fucking awesome and the singer is incredible. Hope that you guys make it big...can I be your guitar tec when you make it BIG? |

Another $.05 review.
I'm not much for Heavy Metal, sounds like a bunch of noise to me, but "On A Dead Machine" ROCKS. All the drive and intensity of heavy metal is there but the clarity of each separate instrument comes through. Too many bands go for the noise factor, these guys play music. When I listened to the band on their web site, I thought they had two singers. Nope, just one really talented one. He can switch between a metal screaming voice to a crystal clear very articulated voice in the same phrase. Great range as well. The guitar player was very good as well, from pounding power chords to bright clean arpeggios. During some songs his right hand was moving so fast it was blurry. The drummer kept it interesting too. Nice differing beats with enough splash to keep you guessing what he was going to do next. Hank, the bass player in the band and ARFCOM member, kept a rock-solid lock with the drummer. I don't know how his bass survived. At times I thought he would pull the strings off of it. All in all, a great night. Nice seeing you again Frank. Gonna listen to the CD now. Great seeing you guys. And Frank, you can be the guitar tech, I'll be the groupie rangler. |

glad to see you guys! and glad you liked it, we really enjoyed the show and hanging out in NYC, that city rocks! we had some 'VIPs' show up thursday night, so we'll see what happens...
maybe one of these days i can get back up there and we can actually hang out for more than five minutes... maybe even SHOOT!  at any rate, thanks again for coming out, you guys are the best! |
