You guys notice we take a very hard beating on the GD board when it comes to our gun laws here.
I know we have some strange and off the wall laws and very restrictive compared to other freer states but we are not as bad as some and a lot better then a couple.
There is a big misunderstanding of the NJ gun laws too, we get rapped for things that are just rumored to be illegal here ,but in fact are legal.

A state that has a list of banned features and then bans additional firearms that do not have the banned features SUCKS.  I am of course referring to the M-1 Carbine, and the Poly Tec M14/S.  THese rifles do not have 2 or more of the banned items but they are on the list.  This forces individuals such as my self to have to store them out of state, seff them or face prosecution.  They where legal when I bought them, why can't I keep them?

I hate this F'ing state

I was born and raised here in jersey, this is not the jersey I was raised in ,it has changed for the touchey feely liberal mind set like putting a bandaid on a decapitation and saying it's OK now,we fixed it.
The statue of justice in this state in blind like everyone elses ,it's just that the liberals in this state are blind and stupid, bad combo anyway you look at it.

I will say that on 9/11 i did get some pleasure in getting a few phone calls from some old friends who are anti gun (hence the old friend reference) ,They wanted to "borrow a few guns"
,I had the distinct pleasure of telling them that would be illegal here in new jersey for me to lend someone a gun like that.

They were afraid law and order was about to break down.

OH!  We're talking gun laws in here?  I thought this might have included your dumb ass left turns (what left turns?), your Turnpike, your politicians you keep electing or perhaps the fact that you have a law that prohibits mags over 15 rounds.  Why the fuck is it 15?!  Talk about arbitrary!

Actually, its not arbitrary at all.  The law was actually written pertaining to PISTOL magazines.  (one of those intent/oops things)  Since 15 was the high-end limit on most pistol mags, that's what it was set at.  Now, that law is used as a 'loophole' of sorts to get around the rifle mag restriction.

This is not to say the the law isn't completely assinine and should be rolled up and smoked by those who wrote it...

What about this fellows:

Last weekend (June 1st) I went to Atlantic City to spend some time at the Crap Tables.  After deducting the cost of gas, tolls, a meal at the Taj (Quite good, but the Showboat is better) and so forth, I left with about $50 of Mister Trump’s money.  Hey, I was up +$240 at one point, but what the hell.  I don’t play slots.
But anyway, a couple of days later, I was emptying the back seat of my car of grocery’s when I noticed I had left a pistol under the drivers seat.  In the case was my Glock with two 17 round magazines.  Each magazine loaded with 15 rounds each, but no magazines in the pistol.  Also in the case was my Suppressor I use with my Glock,  along with a copy of its Form 4.
Now here in PA I have a CCL, so if I want to drive around with my Glock loaded I can do so.
But I’m wondering: Just What Kind Of OOPS! Was I in for if I had been stopped in NJ?
The ammo was/is FMJ; No hollowpoint.

You would have been indefinately detained, reprogrammed, tatooed with peace signs, and then bludgeoned to death with politically correct nerf balls.

You would be fucked!
You would have pulled a felony which would have destroyed your gun rights across the entire country.

The gun under the seat #1, the two 17 round mags would have been #2 & #3 on the indictment.
Then there's the little known law about carrying a gun on casino property which I'm assuming you used valet? I might be wrong on the last one,it might only be in the casino.

Eeeek!

I know about the law about Casino.  I believe it has to do either while On their property or In the casino.  I forget which at the moment.

Damn! I’m glad I found my Felon Freezer!

Worse GS, where they the dastardly 'HOLLOW POINTS'? you would get a charge for each one.

But do not worry, in this county..it is let's make a deal? you get the right lawyer and it all goes away

But I have permit to carry in NJ, I can't carry in PA, where is the 14th ammendment?

Damn you got a permit to carry in NJ...you must know some people as I understand its next to impossible to get.
Also recently I read somewhere about a proposal for higher power arms for LE use but the idea of hollowpoints and their "explosive impact" came into question by anti gun people.
sheesh if its for LE they still are Nazi-like.
Im just another civvie with a rifle a few local PDguys fear knowing its out there somewhere.
something one guy told me at the range recently.

You know, fearing the evil black rifles is a natural reaction.  As I type this, I am looking at my AR over in the corner...it LOOKS evil.  As a matter of fact, I think it is exerting some kind of mind control on me right now.  I suddenly have this overpowering urge to get off the darn computer and head out to the range.  Oh well, I guess I am just weak.  Either that, or I am afraid.  I am going to do the safe thing and give in to the rifle and go shoot.

Beware, I know some of you probable do not believe this, but it just might happen to you.  These black rifles have POWERS.

(whew)  I finally got my nerve back.

OK.  Those bullets.  They were NOT Hollow points.  Straight Flat Tip Dum-Dums.

On another point, I'll be taking an Aunt of Mine down to AC Sometime Soon (Her birthday.  She'll be paying for gas and such.  She REALLY hates taking the bus.  So I said I'd be a good nephew, etc.) and I was asked about the shotgun I use for Self Defense.  No butt stock, but there is a pistol grip.  It is NOT an NFA goodie; Barrel is over the 18” Fed minimum.  Figure me to use Sabot ammo.

Now where can I and where can I NOT place my Ghost Maker so I can protect my Aunt when we Arrive in Atlantic City?  She spends so much money down there we can almost get a limo.  (She wins too much for that.  She also has so many comps I can’t remember her ever paying for meals.)

According to Jersey law, you can only have it going to a gunsmith, range, or hunting. If it is in your car, you could get charged. Especially if in valet parking. I used to be a Security supervisor and we had guys from PA arrested for having a gun in their car.

The Casinos are under State Police and not even a local LEo can carry here off duty. Atlantic City only  on duty only when called in.

I even saw them try to arrest a fed for having a gun.

I live in South Jersey, NOT New Jersey
