CP LLC is considering a ten round mag based on the curved 20 rd mag,any one interested in same?

I spoke with the owner, Larry, today. He is looking into the possibility of making some 15 round mags for the NJ crew. According to him, they must be designed so that if you try to remove the block the magazine is destroyed.

Why couldn't CP (if they are a true manufacturer of the mags from scratch company) make a shortened  15 round magazine body?  No blocking necessary.

If my choices are only 10 round mags then I'll stick with the Bushmaster mags.  I know they are reliable with my AR so I'll stick with what I know.

However, if CP (or another company) made 15 rd mags then I might be interested.

PK90,
I guess the only way to answer your question is...first of all, we are a manufacturer of 20 and 30 round mags and second of all to produce a 15 would just be a matter of $200,000 for a new progressive die.

Ouch! I'd still be interested in some blocked 15 round mags. Anything that you can do to help is appreciated.

tochhc235,

you're the man can I get a 15 round magazine from a 40 and 30 round tube...either riveted or welded as long as it's permanently neutered to 15. this you don'thave to spend a lot of $$$$$$$$

I'd like some faux 30 rounders for display purposes. Yes, I know how sad that statement sounds.
