Where: Buckeye Gun Club in Barneget Township
When: Sunday, Feb. 26 th. Hours : 12 Noon till 4 pm. That's 1200 to 1600 for you army types. Cost : $10.00 per person. The proceeds go to the club. TODAY ! RULES, Pay Attention here 1. No Dumping of magazines pretending you have full auto. Sorry 2. WE clean up the brass and shotshells when we're done at the end of the day. 3. .50 calibre guns OK as long as we AIM LOW at the Berm. 4. We can only have 6 shooters on the Firing line at once. There will be plenty of time for everyone to shoot. 5. No range Nazi to worry about. There will be a 25 yard line and a 50 yard line of fire at different times of the day , we cannot have both at once. We'll work that out when we gather for the day. Direstions: From the North: Parkway South for Rt 72WEST. I believe there are 2 exits ( 69 & 67 ???) that will put you on Rt.72 eventually. If you miss them, than the exit for Rt.72WEST( 63???) . Look for Mile Marker 14.5, turn left on to narrow dirt road. AN ARFCOM sign will be there. RT. 539 South to Rt.72, make a left to go east, Mile Maker 14.5. Look right for the sign. From the West: RTs. 206 TO 70 will dump you on Rt.72, follow east past Rt. 539, again Mile Marker 14.5 and the sign. From the south: Basically opposite of the North directions. IF THERE IS NO ARFCOM SIGH THERE, A TELEPHONE POLE WITH "501" AND 2 MARKERS IS NEXT TO THE DRIVEWAY. After the shoot we may hang out in the club for some pizza and drink. Lets make this a nice one. |

Is this a private club? I live fifteen minutes away and never heard of it.
Yes, It is a private Hunting Club that goes way back to the 1940s. |
For those that have never been there, here is a link to our website:
www.geocities.com/buckeyegunclub/index.htm There are some pictures from the last time we had an informal get together... It isn't the greatest shooting range in NJ but it is what I call my home away from home... RW3 |
Also...
Everybody make sure that your stuff is "Jersey Legal" including those mags perminently blocked to 15 rounds. RW3 |
You guys have a tool for that? |
ADI ammo - excellent STUFF and nice linking gadget. |
Too bad I only have one box of it left. |
If I had the experience (read that shooting through my AR10 ) I would have bought more when it was available.
I have the same linker. It usually comes in a 10 or 20 round configuration, but the guy will make a special Jersey 15 rounder. Im also almost out of the Austrailian stuff. I only have a few SA battle packs and a little more than half a case of the santa barbara 308 left. I do have a few cans allready loaded, but you can never have too much ammo lined up and ready. Now I have to figure out how to get out of my neice's birthday party on sunday.
Have the party at buckeye. Insted of pin the tale on the donkey she can shoot the donkey. |
Just claim that you have a case of black rifle fever and you need a dose of the antidote, available Sunday only in Barnegat NJ where the medical supply ship ran aground. Hope you can make it. Looking forward to meeting more of my blackrifle buds. |

It depends. I have plans Saturday night that might go waaaaaaay into the wee hours of the morning. If not, I'll likely come by. Otherwise, you might mistake me for the walking dead... Of course, I don't think I have anything I can bring back across the river anymore. |
So I get off work at 6:00 am and be doing one of my famous 36hour days. Besides what about you new pistol!
Bring them down and we will teach them firearm saftey. When they are done they can hang out at Fishpaw's Neice's birthday party and shoot the donkey.
You are going to be sick with a sever case of BRD and the only cure is |
