I've been toying with the idea of creating a trust, for NFA stuff. I have been looking at the 199trust.com site, and haven't seen a whole lot of negative posts about it. Has anyone here used this?

And if I don't go with 199trust.com, who would you guys recommend to go to in Central Ohio to have a trust completed?

Thanks.

There are lots of posts regarding trusts (and also specifically 199trust.com) in the Class 3 Legal Issues And Questions subforum

http://www.ar15.com/forums/f_6/50_Class_3_Legal_Issues_And_Questions.html

I made mine using Quicken.

I have this bookmarked on my computer since they are local. I have not worked with them.

I used Quicken Willmaker to create mine several years ago, the older versions have the Living Trust, not sure about newer ones.

There are also basic examples that I have seen posted online that look pretty much the same.

^ That.

Did I pay a lot? Sure. Did I get a trust specifically for NFA items thats 14 pages long and have the piece of minds of having a firearms lawyer to back it up, yup. Besides the $450 or so I paid is worth it.

I just created one using 199 trust. It wasn't too bad. It was a turn around of a couple days for the paperwork. I submitted everything and they emailed me back all the info. Couple of days later I submitted my form 1. 24 days later I have my approval.

24 days!?!?! When was this?
I did the 199 trust and just submitted my form about a month ago, I was told 6-9 months by the LGS. I hope to get my approval back in 24 days.
