Well you can't show it and not let us shoot it.  Now your obligated to go to the FOP range and let us give her a try.

I can not go to the FOP shoot on the 23rd.  I am going to another Alabama shoot the following weekend.  But Georgia AR15 buds are always welcome to shoot her.  Also If you look closely you will see the Sten MkV, another British WWII piece of history.

Len Savage at Historic Arms built it from a demilled kit.  He rewelds the receiver and replaces enough parts to make it compliant and semi.

Yes.... you are correct, I need to get a nice Enfield.  The great thing about Enfields, is that you can get a nice shooter for a couple of hundred $$

That's really cool!  But I always had a doubt about the sighting.  How does the  magazine interferes with the sighting?

The mag dosen't interfere, the sights are offset to the left of the mag

1988rrc,

It shot great.  Only shot about 100 rounds ( 303 gets expensive).  No FTE, FTF's, ran 100%.  It is a big MOFO so recoil is not bad at all, even my 11 year old can shoot it.  The guys at Historic Arms, went through the rifle with me when I bought it.  They showed me how to disassemble, reassemble and adjust the gas system.

They can also make 8mm and 7.62x54R conversions if the 303 gets to expensive.

Cheers

Drool...

I have a kit waiting to be assembled when I get enough funds together.
If you don't mind me asking, how much?

Also, why no flash hider...should be legal now.  Or is it a parts count problem?

This photo was taken before the ban ended, in addition this is a foreign made part, so I need to check the parts count. to keep in compliance with 922.

If it is a parts count issue, then just make a new one, should be a pretty easy part to make!
