I sent this 5 minutes ago. Please follow through on thanking a man who is now a target of the liberals for sacrificing his career to do the right thing.

Senator/Major Dolan:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you not only for your continued service to your country, but for the personal sacrifice you have made for the sake of the people of Missouri. As a former Marine, I have the utmost respect for someone who would place their careers in jeopardy for the benefit of their people. You, Sir, have done that to allow people such as myself to be able to legally defend themselves with a firearm.

I am a firearms instructor and watch commander for one of the largest security firms in the metropolitan St. Louis area, and have been paid to carry a firearm for most of my adult life. This has placed me in the unique position of being able to protect other people, but not being able to protect my family.

Thank you so much for allowing me to defend those I love, as well as others who may need help during a life and death crisis, when I may not happen to be in uniform. You have done this with potential consequences to yourself, and thus have both my gratitude and respect.
