mpearcex...I had it, but sans the scope. My rings didn't arrive in time.
Bookhound...I zeroed the scope yesterday and used it to take down a couple of perps last night.  It's a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8 x 36. It's a pretty nice little scope.

Cool. Just curious, why the high rings? Couldn't you have mounted the scope a little lower? I'm curious because I want to follow in the sniper's footsteps.

The high rings put the scope at the same height as the irons. It feels pretty natural and you can only get so low with the straight stock. |
