I was fortunate enough to have been invited on a management hunt last week, and was able to harvest both a buck and a doe.

The buck was only an 8-point, but at 140-class was one of the nicer 8's that I have personally seen.  A single shot at 185 yards with a 7mm-08 using 140 grain Partitions did the trick.  A single shot at 147 yards with the same combination got the doe.

Looks like there will be plenty of sausage in the freezer for the coming year.

man, nice looking deer. My dad just got back from a trip where he got two or three deer and a couple of hogs, I got sausage(mixed with the hogs he shot) and tender loin and some ground up deer mmmm mmmmmmm
