I have a general big game tag for Montana. I had everything set for a whitetail/mule deer hunt then finding an elk. The plans for the deer are still on but the elk I'm told may not happen on the ranch I'm staying at.
 So any body got an elk I could shoot  PM me if you want or I'll check back here once in a while. |

Be a little more specific. Where is the ranch you plan on staying at? There's way too many places in MT where you could stay and get whitetail/muley/elk to make a reasonable suggestion on where to go if the elk option isn't looking like it'll work out for you. MT is a pretty big state. |

Somewhere around lewistown. A bunch of my friends have gone there for many years doing very well on whitetail/mule deer. Last year they basically wasted 3 elk tags I would rather not do that.
