I'm planning on being there as an IIT. I'm sure some of the other staff, including "Bama" (has another screen name here) and BrandonP, will be along sooner or later.

For those who haven't attended an Appleseed shoot before: This is quality training to improve you rifle marksmanship, and it doesn't cost a fortune or require a thousand+ rounds of ammo. If you want to get better with irons, especially, this will help you immensely. I encourage all of you who can spare a weekend (or even just one day) to sign up!

Wow, still only one regular ticket  (mine) sold to this Appleseed
I've been trying to roust some rifles for the firing line, but no takers so far.

I'm excited, always wanted to attend a Appleseed, I hear they are alot of fun and highly educational for a moderately skilled shooter such as myself.
I've upgraded my trusty ol'Marlin 60 with Tech-SIGHTS & a USGI sling.

Is there a minimum number of participants for a Appleseed?

Give it a week or two. I remember the last one was a bit slow to fill up.

Heck I need to sign up as an IIT myself.

Even whilst plagued by FtEs with my Marlin 60, I still had a good time at this shoot.
Even if I did lose my cool the first afternoon, after multiple mals.

I managed a 220pt AQT and got my Rifleman patch, as did another shooter!

Instructors were good people, highly recommend a Appleseed to anyone.
American Revolutionary War History and a excellent program of shooting instruction, goes together like Ice Cream-n-Apple Pie.

I bet that 50% of even experienced shooters will learn more and take away a better skill set than they arrived with.

AQT with qualifying 220pts.
RedCoat with just one shot keeping it from being a clean sweep. I never did manage 400yds as my Effective Range, stuck on 300,  but dig the head shot at 250yds.

Congrats to both Chile and MrBush! Chile overcame some equipment issues and made a solid Rifleman score with a new-to-him rifle. MrBush persevered through his second Appleseed to achieve Rifleman status.

I thoroughly enjoyed this weekend, and I hope to see y'all back at the next shoot. There were several shooters that are knocking on the door of Rifleman.
