I noticed that Academy in Little Rock had 30 round mags for the mini 14 and also for the 10/22. They are clear, but I cannot remember who makes them. I remember it was a familiar company but it escapes me - I believe it was Eagle or Butler. They were around $20. It is good to see 30 rounders outside of a gun show or gun store, even though I don't have a mini or a 10/22.

Way back when the ban started I went to every K-mart, W-mart and Service M store and bought all I could for around $6.95 each.  Smoke black plastic 25 rounds.  So far all the new no ban 10/22 mags I've seen are around $30.00 or higher.  Let us know if you see them drop below $10.00, that is about where the price should be on them.  You know PLASTIC is cheap.  Too bad someone does not make a quality all metal 25 or 30 round mag for the 10/22, I would pay $30.00 for a all metal one that feeds well with no hangups.

I picked up a Butler Creek 'Hot Lips' 25 rounder for my 10/22 for $19.00 at the gun show this past weekend.

This was the magazine the vendor recommended over the Eagle brand and another brand that double stacked rounds.

I've heard that Butler Creeks 'Hot Lips' were supposed to be pretty good.  I guess I'll find out after taking it out for a spin.

I see in the latest SG News that Natachez now has the 10-22 plastic mags in clear and smoke for under $20.00 plus shipping.  I still think  the price for a all plastic magazine should be about half of that.  I would still pay $30.00 plus for an all metal 25-30  round mag for the 10-22.
