Didn't buy anything.  He didn't have a 10/22 and I need to research the 30cal bolt thing a little more before I plunk down a wad of cash.  As far as the 30cal thing goes, I have that unfired Rem 700 30-06.  Hmmmmm......  I do have my heart set on a .308 or Mag version, though.

I told you I was a p(r)ick(l)y bastard, didn't I?h.gif

Yes, it was me Karl. Bet you never thought you'd see an Arfcommer at a gun shop now did ya? Hey, did you spend any money with Bob, or just talk his ear off? Heh-Heh! You got any idea where a fella might find a used, but not abused, gunsafe? For a dirt-cheap price, that is.....

Bought some reloading supplies and a couple of extra mags for my ubertactical 22/45.h.gif

I have a Liberty Lincoln 25 in gloss blue with all rifle interior that I'd take $1100 for.  I can help move it, but you'll need some more ass besides what I can supply.

Karl,

took your advice and took a trip to K-ville Saturday. You were right they had quite a few Kimbers and such. I don't know where you got one that was priced for less than $500.00. He didn't have any that was less than $670.00. There was a Springer there for $470.00 that needed a lot of work though. Thought about it, but decided no on it because the mag release wasn't worth shit and the barrel was beat to hell. I think I'll just hold out for the Kimber.

Big_Cheese, they had a couple of safes there for what I thought was a good price.

ETA: you can put me back in the dark closet now

Yeah, I'm feel ashamed each time I retrieve or return a gun to that dinky little Homak toolbox I call a "safe". Bob Poplin of Gun Country here in Mt. Scairy told me that theives absolutely LOVE'em

Bob's a great guy to deal with!!  I have him do all my transfers and try to buy as much as I can from his shop.  You just can't beat down home people.
