Anyone else seeing/hearing this?  Just caught one flying relatively low overhead in western McKinney.  I have to say this is the first I've seen out here.

Related or not, it looked like he was just tailing a small plane to come in at the Aero Country airport here.

Obviously he can't land there, too short.

Anything?

ETA: seems to be circling the area, at least over the last 10mins or so

ETA: maybe because of the Bush Center opening?  Securing the area?

I just checked the charts he should have never been up KT31 is well within the TFR coming or going. He (they) should have checked NTAM's and TFR's bad flight prep.

KT31 is Aero Country airport in Mc Kinney ( well within the TFR ' terminal flight restriction area ' ).
He should have checked NOTAMS.

More than likely it's one of the escort / fighter types associated with presidential security.

What a job that would be ... flying an F16 at 500 feet / owning the airspace, and back up to the tanker for mo-gaz.

He assumed the pilot took off from within the restricted area and should have checked before takeoff if there were flight restrictions in place. Since that airport is close to the edge of the restriction, it is possible he took off from a non-restricted area and flew into the restricted airspace though.

Yes, you assumed he was coming or going to that airport. That was just the airport he was forced down at.

No just coming or going, force down is the only fact.
