ATTENTION NEW JERSEY
RESIDENTS:

New Magpul PMAG 15 round capacity in a 20 round body.  These are 15-round  5.56 NATO, M-16/AR-15 compatible magazine.  The magazines are modified to include a full-width, polymer block that rides underneath the follower to prevent follower tilt, eliminating feeding issues.  The resulting magazine is light weight and rattle-free.

The Magpul PMAG features a straight body and pop-off storage/dust cover that alleviates pressure from the magazine feed lips, allowing for storage of loaded magazines without risk of feed lip creep that often causes malfunction in standard aluminum magazines. PMAG utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance.

Magpul is now making 5, 10, and 15 round magazines for only 13.95. I'm not sure if resellers have them yet, but they are in the catalog: http://www.magpul.com/assets/files/2010Catalog/2-PMAG.pdf

It's on page 17 (about half way, the pages are not all there)

The ones posted above are 20 rounders modified by rifle gear / midwest.

The official ones are not out yet. Hopefully we'll see them some time this year but who knows.

They are in the catalog but are not yet available for sale. I was advised by Magpul that if/when available they would be listed in the products section of the website itself. One rumor I read was that the product was still in legal review or something to that effect.

From Justin-Beard at the Magpul forums:

"BTW We are still going to produce our 5, 10, and 15 round PMAGs. The intention is to sell them as 'ban state' compliant magazines and therefore they will have a permanently attached floor plate to prevent removing the limiter. Keep an eye on our website for updates. "

I'm definitely waiting for these.

I saw that last week while I was looking through Thermold's site. I know they're supposed to be legal because they're individual mags but having them attached together like that, will I have a problem?

oh so they will still have the 30 round body, just blocked to 15 and perm fixed plate? Or are they doing it with 20 rounders?

Either way, if thats the case, i can do that crap myself.

No. They are individual magazines, neither holding more than 15 rounds.
