Not surprising really...  I'm in the minority that thinks Stoops is overrated for what he has actually delivered.  Missouri just played better.

OU shot themselves in the foot how many times?  3, 4, 5 ?  You just can't turn the ball over in the red zone and win a ball game in the Big 12.  Or any other conference for that matter.  Congrats to Mizzou they played the better ball game...... They play again next year, so we'll see what happens then.

I don't see the big deal about beating Choke U.
Every time they get to #1 they lose the next game.

I was really pissed off after OSU beat OU a few years ago knocking them out of #1 and an undefeated season.
I remember standing on the sidelines and watching Joe Wylie run with the ball one handed then throw it out of bounds just before he got tackled.
I was there in the "Chuck Chuck" days.
I honesty believe the 2000 OU National Champions were the finest student athletes to ever play the game.
That ain't gonna happen again at OU.
Those two boys that got dropped off the team a few years ago for drawing wages and not working were only the sacrificial goats. There were a whole lot more things that weren't uncovered.
My change of heart over OU didn't come in just a few years. It came over four decades of watching OU football.
To hell with OU football.
It's been the major failure for economic development in this state since the 1950s.

As a former MO resident I watched the game but was really hoping for OU to pull it off.  I despise the MU athletic department.  They're the only 1-A NCAA FB team in the state (MO State still plays 1-AA) but there are FIVE 1-A basketball programs in the state.  One each in Columbia, KC, St Louis, Springfield and Cape Girardeau.  The pussies at MU refuse to enter into any home and home non-conference games with any of the home state teams for fear of losing (which they legitimately could at MSU) and jeopardizing their precious RPI.  It's going to take an act of the Legislature to mandate such an arrangement like they have in Iowa.  Games like last night just bolster their arrogance.  I hope Nebraska destroys them.
