Well as most of you know I am outta here next week on my way back to CA. Wouldn't you know it. I just got two calls this morning from 2 firms here in Dallas wanting to see me for an interview.......NEXT WEEK.....LOL Where were these fuckers when I was looking for a job in the past 1.5yrs??? I was so frustrated I almost told one of them to fuck off and die!!! but I didn't. I just explained that I am relocating back and declined gracefully.

Just thought I'd share my luck with you guys. Actually I find this type of irony amusing.

One of the firms that called me, I had already talked to last year. For the position they had, they were offering half of what industry standard pay is for that position.

I really don't see delaying the inevitable any longer. I've delayed it for 3yrs.

Plus George W needs another Republican vote in CA. Remember CA carries a shit load of electoral college votes.

I could be the one to tip the scale over there.

That and I really need to go on a date soon. Lord knows after 3yrs of trying here in TX, that ain't happening. These girls here think I have the plague or something. At least the ones I want to go out with think that.

It's really none of my business, but what are you going to do with your evil black rifles when you move back to Kalifornistan? I did 5 years in San Diego and hightailed it back to DFW as quick as I could. Best of luck on the job hunt.

Having been unemployed 2X I have sold all of them. I only have my 1911 and KelTec P32 to take back with me. So that whole SB23 ban is a non event for me.

Been there, done that. Thanks to a supportive family and creative budgeting, I've been able to avoid selling anything when trouble strikes, but I've been to the point were I would have if it wasn't for my folks. I hope your job situation straightens out, and if you're ever back in the area, I'm sure there's someone that will let you play with thier evil black toys (me included).

Well I had a looksee this afternoon. The position is not really what I'd like to be doing. The money is OK. Not what I was needing but close.

I don't think I will get a call back. They probably think I'm too expensive
