last show i did in Pasadena and the one before @ George R. Brown:

Rock River stripped lower $250-275

Off-brand (Superior, etc) $225-235

Smith & Wesson $215-225

Stag $200

i was selling Stag for $200 and sold quite a few.  i asked a guy at George R. Brown what brand of lower he was selling at $225 and his reply was, "Does it matter?"  my reply was, "yes, because if they were Colt's i'd take them all."

I remember buying my STAG stripped lower for 99 bucks.  Sad what things have come to.

The Spike's Tactical lowers @ $170 each are looking like a prety good deal now.

Actually - this charade is coming to a close.  Lowers are starting to be able to be found here and there for MUCH cheaper prices... the retail side is marking these up due to demand and inability to keep a lot in stock.  I predict very soon things will be back to normal except for a few holdouts still trying to get top dollar.

Theoretically that would probably be true.  BUT there is this little rumor of an AWB coming since the mighty one took office and that will keep fear/prices up.  Right now he is too busy trying to figure out how to fuck up our economy and national debt even more than what it already is.   After that I'm sure he's got the AWB already typed up in a folder in his desk.  Hopefully he'll let us keep a few of our guns for when they let all the terrorists free from Quantanimo.

As for stripped lowers, here in San Antonio, they have been about the same as others posted.  Friend got a Rock River stripped lower at the last SAXET show and I think it was $230.  There were some for maybe $215, but they were brands I had never seen/heard of before.  Prices went on up to $285 or so. PK Firearms (online) has some RRA stripped lowers for $165 right now.
