I got this '74 440 Skimmer for free back in the summer. Cleaned the carb, new plugs, custom duct tape upholstry, rebar wear rods, the works. Ever since, you could go out, no matter what the weather, and one pull start it. Best running piece of junk I have ever owned. Get home today ready to turn up some of this nice snow........damn thing refuses to start...

If it doesn't have a primer then use some sort of squirt bottle and give the carb a direct shot of mixed gas. Thats the trick I used on my old 74 articat puma. Real cold blooded SOB.

As always be careful when playing with gas. If that doesn't work then fill a bottle with gas, insert rag in the end, light and throw at snowmobile. Repeat process for desired results.

Old joke but.

Snowmobiles are like women.

Have to work on them for 2 hours so you can ride them for 15 minutes.
