Hi All,

I'm located in the Richmond area and am looking for advice on training so I can get my CCW. I am aware of the training at Dominion but just wanted to know what other options were available. Also, if anyone has any experience with Dominion please share your thoughts on their program. I am not new to guns, I have just never had any formal training to qualify for my permit. Thanks in advance!

I went through Dominion and it was pretty good. You're not gonna learn much about guns, but you will learn the law about CCW. The lawyer was a good guy, and he knew his stuff. The only downfall is buying your own ammo.

After the CCW class, Monday night shoots are a really good way to get better at shooting. You can add, stress, speed, and movement to your shooting and you get much more than simple standing in one spot punching holes in a paper target.

My biggest drawback with shooting at Dominion on a regular basis is having to buy their ammo. They should offer a fee structure with one price to allow people to bring their own ammo and a lower price if you buy theirs. At least offer people the choice.

I've always wanted to do these, but I don't get him until 6:30 - 7 on Mondays no time to do it.
