Would it be possible to lock threads instead of trashing them? Trashing them leaves them out of view for us common folk to reference.

This is what caused a few problems at a site that cannot be mentioned.

For the hundreds of dollars I've donated to this site, I don't consider this to be too much to ask.

Thanks

Patrick

The thread posted by danc46 was locked by me, trashed by staff. FYI.

leaving those threads is continuing to stir the crap.

as i said above the issue with OSA is not relevant to this site. there is documented trolling going on from both sides and it ends now.

the amount of money one spends should make no difference in the application of the rules of this site.

had people been able to act like rational adults this wouldn't be an issue.

I've always abided by the rules here!  I just mentioned the $$$ for consideration about trash vs. lock, not for bending any rules.

I disagree about the relevancy, however.  Many members in OK are on both sites, and what is ARFCOM w/out its members?

That being said, I will not speak of them unless JP starts trolling again.

happened earlier today.  I caught it when it was locked and not deleted. Came across as Dan joking more than anything to me but I guess everyone is a bit tired right now so it got axed.

that's what she said,

just about now, the drumer would do a rim shot, but I asked ahead of time that they refrain from it, since rat posted way back when that Dan liked it too much, like in an unnatural way.

hell all you needed to read was the first page to get the gist of it,

the other 8 pages are like the old school yard saying "that's the name, ask me again and I'll tell you the same".

Hmm, now seems a good opportunity to share a bit from the thread of mine that was deleted. It concerned politely stated insults.
Such as Ndenway is a fine example of a nematode infested anal cavity. I've always wanted to tell him he is a feces cranial depository also. I have more but I'll save them for another time.

By the way, no website was named or implied in that thread. It was intended to be funny. It did not have anything to do with past problems.

Not, not really. I have had the ability to make huge deposits of excrement for years. The 1.5 gallon toilet tht is now mandated in new homes is not adequate for individuals such as you and I. Digestive byproducts must now be deposited in smaller amounts so the smaller flush and 4" sewer lines can depose of the fecal matter.
However, gas release has been a problem for me for a long time. People have accused me of having a bugle in my back pocket. If the pressure builds and I don't release it, my ear drums could burst.
And some people have very little sense of humor when they have to wipe the brown deposits off their eye glasses.
Alas, Brother L! The world is not equipped to deal with men such as ourselves.

No, but I am! (This is Nden's fault, I would have never come over to HT if Nden hadn't invited me. )

(I think, she says, in a tiny little voice in the back of her head, as her mouth overloads her butt one more time!! )
