Does anyone know who might stock these in the DFW area? Specifically one for a 5" 1911

Try contacting the Texas Army-Navy store at Beltline and Central in Richardson. They also have a web site---www.afmo.com

Yes I have a phone, but since it was Sunday and I had already tried the only local dealer that Safariland lists I thought I would ask here. I don't have time to go through and call every single gun and cop shop in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to ask if they do.

C&G usually has the holsters for the most popular pistols in stock. Ends up being about $92 out the door after taxes.

You could always try www.texastacticalgear.com - I believe they are a board sponsor.
