John Linebuagh is having his second annual Revolver shoot January 29-31.  it's an Elmer Keith old school shooting seminar based on Johns big guns.  500 Linebaugh. basically the take a 6 shot Ruger Black hawk super black hawk and rechamber it to a 5 shot .500 cal monster.  must read read more..  and still more...

last year was a great shoot.  Everything big and nasty that could hurt you what hauled out of gun safes and fired down range.  we had all of John's pistols.  a large selection of African rifles, exotic carbines and .338 cal ultra long range sniper rifles.  this year we may have a .50 or two.  the focus is of course to sell John's pistols and show everyone the penetration aspects of different bullets using wet news print as a terminal media.  they also do long range revolver shooting.  off hand at 300 yards etc.  Everyone is very cool and will let you shoot their guns.  as is always i will bring a few of mine just to shoot. so if you can make it then you will have a great time.
