I will be purchasing a couple of rifles that are in another state, but I'm not sure which dealer, here in the Las Vegas area, would be a good choice for the transfer. I'm new to the area, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hear a lot of good stuff about Black Rifle Armory in Henderson... I have been real happy with transfers I have done through Discount Firearms.

Glen, out of Pawn Place......err...Bargain Pawn......new locale, N. Vegas, great guy!

Charges $15 for long guns, and $20 for handguns.......any additionals at the same time, add $10 each.

If you bring your CCW, Brady check is waived......great stand up guy, and knows his coins too!

That sure beats another Vegas dealer......who charged me $60 transfer fee for a stripped lower, on a group purchase here a while ago.....so my $85 stripped lower, came out to $150 with tax and "fees".

IM or e-mail me for a Las Vegas dealer to avoid. They took delivery of my Colt 6920 carbine and when I walked in to pick her up it was out of the box and laying on the wall rack with a white tag on her!

I think Citadel charges $35 for a transfer.

I hope the above post wasn't referring to Citadel. I can't imagine John or Amber doing something like that on purpose.

Thanks for the great information everyone. I decided to go with Glen from Bargain Pawn. I spoke with him on the phone and he seems like a good guy to deal with.

Martin at BRA did the transfer for me when I bourght a three pack lower receivers. He charges $25 for up to three FFL items as long as they're on the same yellow form, IIRC. Can't beat that!
