was talking with the manager on friday and he was telling me they sold 100,000 rounds of 223 ammo on Thursday.  They got a shitload of sabre defense lowers and he told me they had a couple hundred more on order.

One of the last four?  When I went by at about 3:45pm today, they had around 12-15 on the rack.  I was planning on going back tomorrow.  Were all of those really gone?!?

This was the fixed handle BM M4 A2. They still had several Olympics and BM full size versions.

Sorry if my questions is a dumb one, is that a good price for the ammo?

Damm!  I paid $899 for a Bushy M4 at Larry's last year, in Huntsville.  I haven't been by the shop since before the election, sounds like prices went up a little bit.

I just went by Larry's yesterday (11-15) and good god at the guns and ammo going out that door. 500 round packs of ammo going out the door as if they are going out of style (which they might be......guns and ammo that is.) On topic that sounds a little high for a BM M4 I paid 1000 out the door with 2 boxes of ammo and a bottle of CLP included, but that was at Guns N Such in Florence.

Was at Larry's today, he's got a few (probably 4) more Colts (I think they were 6520s), some Bushmasters, etc.  Box of 300 Federal .223 ball was $135 + tax.  He's got some 30 rd magazines for $30 (he had a box of AR style magazines a few weeks ago for $10 ea).  Saw quite a few guys looking at the AR rack.  He sure likes to show off those stun guns

Does Larry's do transfers?  If so, how much?
Link Posted: 11/19/2008 2:18:28 PM EDT
[#26]
Larry's charges $50 for a FFL transfer, Madison G&A does it for $30, depending on which part of the county you live in it may be a shorter drive, Madison G&A lets you request a FFL transfer online.  I think you have to go to Larry's to request the transfer.

Silent Industries in Harvest does them for $25.  Active Military is free.  Discounts to LEO/Fire/ Paramedic.
