I usually go out west hiking for a week with a few buddies, but this year they let life get in the way of our trip....

We are now planning a local trip and I have always wanted to try a lake charter.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a Superior or Michigan charter?  I am closer to Superior but I would consider Lake Michigan if the fishing was good.

Looking more toward the salmon/trout species than any others.  Thanks

I booked a charter with Happy Hooker charters out of Duluth for Aug 17th. I could tell you if they are good after that

A friend of mine has used them in the past and said they were a good charter to go with.

Lake Michigan has the biggest fish it's had in a decade right now.  20lb fish are not rare out there this year as opposed to them being non-existant for a long time.  I would recomend Dumper Dan's charter out of Sheboygan.
