Went out to calverton today and can't wait to head back. Believe it or not, I prefer it to Blue Trail Range in Wallingford, CT. Much less expensive and a little closer to home to boot! I'll be looking forward to 10/14 in a big way!

Ya know it's funny...

It's always something.

And for years it was the same thing. The ARFCOM socail events always randomly fell on my drill weekends. The I'm out last year for spinal surgery, so this year the 14th is...

my daughter's birthday.

i think I'm gonna go cry like a baby now.

I think that you can transport rifles and shotguns out! Just keep them locked up, ammo seperate and unloaded while going through NYC.

If not, just show up with any caliber ammo! Someone will have something you can shoot.

Yeah, if I go (and I plan on it), you have something to shoot. If you bring ammo even better, shoot it all, knock yourself out. As I don't have a huge supply of .223 on hand. 8mm, 7.62x54, and 30-06 I should have plenty.

PS My rifles shoot Wolf just fine, if thats all you can find. (Any ammo you bring, You shoot)
