However, I think it's neat to collect PD/Sheriff marked pistols. My particular interest is LE agency marked 3rd Generation S&W's.

So, just out of curiosity, does anyone else have an interest in firearms such as this? I like them because they've been carried/used in the "real world", and not just sitting in a safe.

I'm still on good terms with the PD I used to work for. When they transition to a new pistol, I'll see if I can get my old 92F.
