I hate to hear this kinda stuff.

Best of luck them, and the Search Teams.

If anyone in that area has a scanner, try putting in 121.5000 and see if you can hear beeps of an ELT.

That sucks.  There's some shitty terrain for airplanes there.

I thought 121.5 was for contacting the nearest ATC when entering "new" airspace.

2 of these people I know. The other one has been a customer in the past.

Best wishes to each of them, and to their families.

CHEHALIS, Wash. – Lewis County Sheriff Steve Mansfield says officials have narrowed the search for a missing plane Tuesday to a two- or three-square mile area between Morton and Randle.

Mansfield told KITI radio that searchers have combined information from the radar track with reports from loggers who say they heard a plane turning and then a thud.

The area in southwest Washington is on wooded steep slopes where snow has recently fallen.

The pilot and two passengers took off Monday from Chehalis for Lewiston, Idaho, in a plane registered to Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Chehalis.

About 10 minutes into the flight the pilot of the twin-engine Cessna radioed that he was turning back because he lost power in one engine.

Plane has been found.  No mention of the occupants yet, not sure if that means it's been spotted and not actually approached yet or what.
