I'm thinking of signing up for the assault rifle shoot at the Creek this fall.  Has anyone shot it before?  Is there a lot of competition there?  Is there anything I should know before I commit to this as this will be the first competition outside the Army?  I called them today and all they really told me was that the targets are from 50yds-125yds. and they are about 10" to 12" steel.
