I was at the SB1195 rules committee meeting in Springfield that featured our very own Barrack Obama in 2003. SB1195 was one of Daley's draconian assault weapon ban/confiscation schemes. I had the distinct honor of sitting in a room the size of a class room with Obama and Dillard as Todd Vandermyde argued against this horrid bill.

Dillard, a Republican from DuPage County was a yes vote. His excuse was to vote yes and to then gut the bill to non existence. Keep in mind Dillard, like Kirk is a RINO through and through.
