Hello fellow midwesterners, coming from a fellow Missourian... Myself and my brother are going on a little road trip into Nebraska to check out some potential land to buy hunting rights on and wanted to make a predator hunt out of it. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on where I might find some coyotes, bobcats, or foxes? I was potentially going to try and find some public land to hunt but thought I'd ask around on here to see what you guys thought. Any help would be much appreciated, and if anyone has land that has is good deer hunting and interested in setting up a hunting lease, please let me know.  Thanks !

Probably forget the public lands. They get so overrun with hunters most of the times.

The southern part of the state SHOULD get you into bobcat country.

If youre out of state, you will need to buy a hunting license to hunt coyotes. There is no license for instate hunters though. Kind of stupid really.

Seriously?  We can hunt coyotes with out a permit in NE if we're residents?

yeah I will buy the small game permit or whatever is necessary, not a big deal.  Maybe I'll post something on Craigslist asking to predator hunt, there's got to be somebody who'd like the have some varmints removed for them.  I was looking to go in middle of Nebraska, staying on the southern edge (driving wise that would make the most sense for me).  Thanks for the help, now I know the public lands are just like missouri... over hunted
