My wife received these pics from her sister who lives in San Diego and whos husband is a retired detective from the SDPD............NO, IT'S NOT HIS FOOT.

These may have been out there for a while, but they just crossed my desk the other day.

Enjoy,

Nevadasun

It wasn't a .45, it was a .410 shotgun and the genius who did that pulled the trigger with the barrel resting on the toe of his boot like some of those clay shooting types are wont to do.

Saw that a couple of weeks ago.

Safety rules are in place for a reason.

Yikes...

Not beyond repair.  Just have to watch for osteomylitis and of tissue infection.  Otherwise looks like healthy tissue and should heal well, already showing granulation tissue.  The toe will be deformed.
Now will he do that again?  I doubt it, but I could be wrong.

Seems like a good case for steel-toe boots

I can't believe he is still alive. The .45 has so much power that a shot, even to the foot, kills the average person.

It must have been "BALL" ammo as the dreaded "Hollow Points" would have blown his head off.

This pic probably has noting to do with a Gunshot wound. It has been attributed to every type of Firearm there is. The first time I saw that pic two weeks ago it was attributed to a Sporting Clays shooter.
