If one had the ability to get 35% of MSRP on a Para Ordinance P14-45, would one jump all over that? $855 to $555. Anyone have an opinion on the gun? It would be my first .45. I would really like the opinion of those of you who are dealers *cough* duke *cough*

I'd be on it like white on rice. ParaOrd pistols are well made, at this time. There was a year or two when they started losing the quality due to being so popular, but they cleared that up. If it was one of their LDA pistols, I'd have to kill you for it

Offhand I'd say yes, jump. Can you share what model it is, specifically? I'd say in general Para is on par with the other quality 1911 brands out there, maybe not quite as much attention to detail as a Kimber or a nice Springfield, but pretty damn close. I've seen many double-stack paras in competition use that have seen tens of thousands of rounds through them without breakage. That certainly counts for something too.

I have a p14 that I love. The trigger is excellent. Now that I am used to having 14rds it almost seems like a step down going to a 7-8rnd gun [which might cost the same or more].

Looks like it wont happen. Someone from mocarry had a 35% off thing that they won. At the time I didnt think I would be able to do it but I pm'ed him to see if he still had it. He gave it to someone else that night.

I saw one for $610 new online. Still might get one. Im really sad now.
