and 44mag isnt the cheapest out there....bravo company is at 8.50 a mag. |

I'd be happy to pay 11.49 per mag with the genII magpul follower, I'd be in for another 10 or even 20. And as for Paul's (Bravo co) mags, they may be great, but they do not have a cage code on them and have a generic floor plate with Bravo Co stamped on them. They are a grey teflon finish, very nice. One other negative thing I've noticed on the examples I have, the spot welds are not near as even as the DFI or NHMGT mags I have. Anyone know who is making these? ETA: Could be wrong, still no cage code, but does have a quarter stamp on the body. Roll marks on the stamp look exactly like a few of the DFI mags I have. |

I think he's talking about just the followers. What is so great about magpul followers anyway? The green ones seem to work just fine... Besides, I already have abotu 20 mags, and a dozen are still in their boxes... I'll open them when I need them.

ive been waiting for Bravo Co. to get those mags back in for about 2 or 3 weeks now. Theres no telling if there going to have more at that price, when they do. I guess theyre moving facilities and holding off on the shipping and inventory of their mags until theyre settled. Word is MID APRIL, but its not too clear if theyre going to do $8.59 again. Im unsure what shipping is also. the price is killer, but was short lived so far. BRAVO CO MAGS im interested in mags, HELL I just want to be in a group  GROUP BUY!! |

44mag is in Oregon, too, albeit the far south coast (Harbor).
Who knows - maybe they'll be taking a trip farther north, and someone could talk them into bringing the case (or cases) of mags up with them to avoid having to pay shipping charges... |

I must be behind the curve on this. Grey Mag followers are better how? I have 10 with the tan Magpull followers and like them a lot.
Regardless I'd still would be up for 10 more. |

So, the Bravo Co mags are in fact D&H, sorry if I caused any confusion
 I wish we could find the D&H or DFI mags with the first gen Magpuls in them, last time I bought 22@ $10.00 ea, but I think they are all gone now. PC, as for the difference, you may never see it, but the magpuls are more of an anti tilt than the green GI followers. I've never had any problems feeding in the gun with either, but I will tell you this, when using a LULA to load, the magpul follower equipped mags are alot easier as they do not tilt as much in the rear of the mag. |

If I'm going to do a group buy, I'd like to use the extra money saved ($2/mag or whatnot) to grab some nicer mags than last time.
I would like Teflon coated over dry film and some MagPul followers. While not required, I was really impressed with the last ones I bought over the standard dry film/green followers. |

Yes, but the one posted from Bravo Company wasn't. The price quoted by Cape in another thread was also for the non-MagPul. MagPul followers in that post are $11.79. I do know how to read!  Now all that fancy addin' and minusin'...that's some tough stuff! /spit

Dude, Bravo's mags are Teflon coated, I've got some, trust me
Not dry film, but the fancy schmancy grey brownish teflon mojo uber duper slick um's stuff.Bravo will be out of the mags untill Mid April, but says they will have the magpul followers back in stock by the end of the month. |

I bought some of the mags from 44mag when he did the special offer -- good quality stuff.
The I bought 10 more from Bravo @ $8.59 each when they did their special .. again, good quality, but gray, not black (not that I care). When I am feeling rich I may buy some of the new Magpul followers, but for now the green ones seem to work just fine. BTW: the reason for the Bravo $8.59 sale was that they had a huge inventory, and couldn't shift them very fast at normal prices so decided that they would basically sell them at cost, just to free up the money to invest in something else which would sell at a reasonable profit -- so don't expect to see any repeat of that price unless the wholesale prices go down some. The $10.xx price from 44mag is actually pretty good, assuming he wants to make some money out of the sales -- which I suspect he does. |
