It looks like Bob and Rocco will be in Oshkosh 11/30-12/02.  At least that is what the Sunnyview Expo calendar says.

Bob's next show is this weekend (10/19-10/21) at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex. I though it suppose to be a combination gun/military show with oodles of tables.

The complex is located at 6000 W. Ryan Rd., in Franklin.

ETA:
Firearm Show + Badger Military Show
Fri 5-9, Sat 9-5, Sun 9-3 Admission $5.00 Free Parking. Numerous factory reps
500 table gun show + 400 table Military Show.
Ron Paul promoters are also suppose to have a high turnout at this show to promote their canidate.

This promises to be a really fun show. Guess I've have to break into my piggy for a few more loose coins. Also, make sure to drop by Terry's place in Racine after the show. Maybe he'll have something else up for raffle

Ok I got there about 530 and saw guys leaving with full ammo cans so I guess I missed any ammo deals (exempt the one in the parking lot)

it was a large show and they were selling COLD BEER

lots of evil rifles and some cool italian magazine feed tactical shotgun for about $380 that I thought looked pretty interesting. Most of the same stuff from past shows though SA 308 battle packs for $80 at one table and $60ish at another

Lots of cool military books and DVD's (it was a military show too)

as for my ammo deal. a friend wanted to sell some and I saw him by his car and he had a cart he was putting some ammo cans on and I asked what and how much.
9 boxes wolf black box 5.56
12 boxes of norinco 7.62 x39 Yellow and silver boxes
5 boxes golden tiger 7.62 x39
a plastic bag with loose 7.62x39
two new Gi ammo cans
$100
not the best deal but the norinco stuff is pretty cool

That's on the grounds of the former M-54 Nike Missile Launch Site! I wish they's perserve at least one of these sites in Wisconsin.

Lot's-o-stuff of this show kids. All of our regulars are there except for Ed Paulson (Paulsom Military Supply).... RIP, you'll be sorely missed.

Anyway, Had my hands on the wallet several times but nothing really jumped out and grabbed me. The highlight for me at this show was a guy who had a M1919 semi-autos in 22LR. Ya it's a toy but they look fun as hell based on the scale and the accuracy of these scaled down brutes (including spade grips). They even had full kits available in the $1400 range.

Don't laugh at me but while picking up some AK mags in 5.45 I discovered the stripper clips and loading spoons for this round. All I can say is that they're slicker than snot and the commies really had their act together when then designed these. Try to find these if your're shooting a Bulgy or Tantal.

You sure about that?  I'm almost positive it was on 68th and Ryan.  The old Training and Placement facility that was part of the House of Correction was built over the site.  We housed inmates in the old barraks till we tore the place down about 5 years ago.  Perhaps the silos were over there but the command center and barraks was definently at 68th and Ryan.  We may have some old pics at work and I'll see if I can find em.  We have an old timer in maintenance who has been by us for almost 30 years and I'll ask him now that my interest is peaked.

The Sig 556 for $1,100 at the Ryan Rd show was very tempting...

What happened to ED?
I loved buying from him. Really great/honest guy!

Haven't been to shows since last year so I guess I wouldn't have noticed.

He passed on at the beginning of the month with cancer (type unknown). He was a great guy and I'm going to miss him and his wares. He always had what I was looking for and you could always count on him being at the show.

That's too bad. My dad sort of knew him (he knew him before all that OKC stuff too). I've got a bunch of old surplus gear in my basement from Paulsons. Used to "play Army" with all that stuff when I was a kid.

I'll miss seeing him at Iola.

It's a tiny little thing at a bowling alley as you go into town on HWY 60. The room is about half the size of the the hall at Circle B. West Bend show will be just 5 minutes away from there.

Locations on either of these would be cool.

West Bend isn't too far.

Cedarburg - Circle B Rec Center, on HWY 60 just west of I.
West Bend - Fair grounds

I'll be there with cash in hand.  I'm looking for an AK and hopefully some nice ones will be there to fill the void in my gun safe.

What happened to Ed?

He had a very young daughter at home...

He was sure stressed out after what happened at OK City....they were not exactly fair to Ed...imo

Edited to add I read down about Ed having cancer and passing away early in Oct..

Ed and I went back a long way....he was a good guy...a Vietnam vet...combat engineer...at some SF camp

Ed had a nice place outside of Antigo where he and and his wife raised some horses and rebuilt tractors..

I hope his eldest daughter got a chance to make up with him...last time I saw him we talked about his oder kids
that was back in the spring of this year...

thanks for posting...

That's to bad....

I remember him from back in the day when I use to go to the Fond Du lac Shows and I would buy a lot of my cleaning stuff from him. He was a nice guy and always friendly...

I did not know he was a VietNam Vet.....

RIP

Pucci only has the show here once a year and it was a real winner at the last one. Loads-o-tables and all spread out. No arseholes and elbows like Waukesha.
