If a shoot does take place this year, I hope there is a better turnout than last year. Myself, rcav8r, and a fellow I work with were the only ones that showed up. Yeah, it was -14 degrees out, but isn't that why its called the FROZEN nuts shoot? It is a perfect time to find out if your weapons work when its a little brisk outside too.

I think I tried to go last year but something came up. If the shoot is close to Madison/Watertown I will try to attend.

Its usually held at the Yellowstone lake state park range. I know where it is, but I couldn't tell you which road its on without a map. :)
I managed to get stuck last year, but our fellow arfcommer pulled me out. I'm in if nothing else comes up that weekend. John |

i think the uw chapter of safer is due for another shoot sometime around then...we should get them to come on out as well. It would be fun for some of those kids to shoot with everyone else. ETA they shoot at yellowstone every now and then.

Good idea. Once a date is set I'll let SAFER know and see if I can get a bunch of them to come out. And if I'm not out of town, I plan to make it out this year. |

count me in on this for sure, pending date and time. I think I'd drop most anything for this though.
to be honest, I don't care if it's cold or not, a WI HTF shoot would be sweet. |

Depending on time and date, I owuld definatly be in. I ride the motorcycle when its single digits, and go camping when it is subzero, so shooting @ -14 sounds fun

Feb. 10 would probably work good. I think that part of the problem last year was that the shoot was on Valentines Day weekend. Oh, and did I mention that it was fukken COLD out?
Whatever is decided is alright with me. |

Roger that! At least i didn't miss deer hunting. I found out i was deploying the day i left for wisconsin for deer season. Had to pull some strings, but at least i got home. |

So what is the final date?????????????
I hear the 10th and then someone posts they can't make it on the 10th. Since we cannot please everyone no matter how hard we try we need to set a date and say make it or not. Yes I am holding the wife off on weekends in Feb (the only one I am busy so far is the 17th) but she keeps wanting to book more and more stuff for me. |

I started a thread about the FNS last year. Ended up doing a poll, to see what dates worked best for everyone interested. Maybe we could do that again this year.
