Guys- I've got some Irish guys that I'm entertaining this weekend, and I recall an Irish ppub in ATL that was popular with some other Irish friends. Anyone know the name of the place? Directions from Gainesville?

Fado's in Buckhead is decent and they have their own parking lot too.  I'm not that crazy about Meehans but some like it.

If a decent English place will do Ship & Anchor in Sandy Springs is pretty good, has outdoor seating, and the food is really good.

Limerick Junction? Pretty much a standard when St. Paddy's day rolls around. It is in the Highlands even!

I ended up searching the net and found all three of these places. All are possibilities. It was Fado's that was popular with my other Irish frined. However, Paddys' is at Chateau Elan. That's the same parent company that I work for, and the pub was built on the basis of a real Irish pub with a bar that was imported from Athlone, and the pub manager is from Athlone, same as these guys.

We may start there and see how things go.

Then, when it gets late, I'll introduce them to tannerite. (of course, not at the pub...)

H20 Man- I just found out the other day that you're a Toyota man! I saw some Tundra or T100 parts you had for sale on another site. BTW, there's a Polytech M1A on the EE.

Doh! I took my own thread off topic!

There is one off Paces Ferry just inside Cobb Co. next to New York Pizza Exchange....I forget the name right now.  It's near Paces Ferry and Overlook Pkwy just off I-285 next to the Quick Trip station.  Also Paces Ferry at Cumberland Parkway just off 285 is Padriac's (not sure of the spelling)  also a pretty popular spot.  Always good for some nice eye candy too !

If you are ever in Cartersville, there's McVoorneens.........it's a decent irish pub in the basement next to the railroad tracks. It has one hell of a Reuben sandwich, complete with sweet potato fries

Fado is really good as well as Johnny McCracken's in Marietta (in an old firehouse).
