There is a 150 yard rifle range in correctionville. Rays sporting goods in Quimby will usualy do transfers for free 712-445-2023 |

Yea me and my dad went to that 150 yard rifle range in Little Sioux Park. We took an SKS and a CETME 308. The only thing I don't like about that range is that you have to shoot through a tube. I guess it helps keep the range clean because the ejeted brass stays in the tube.
I guess its better than no range and it is 150 yards too. |

its a public range south of correctionville about 3
Miles on hwy 31 take the first blacktop to the left there is a sign by the entrance on the right side of the road |

There is a nice Izack Walton (sp?) range here in Tama as well 100 and 200 yards.
Indoor shooting in the winter I go to a Gun Shop in State Center that has a nice indoor range for pistols. He also doess CCW testing there. Aviator |

Never been to the Correctionville range though I heard others talk of it. There is a range 5miles east of LeMars 3 miles north but it's got them damn tubes also. Must be an IOWA thing.
There is an indoor handgun range Hawkeye Pistol and Rifle Club by the airport I am a member to. 24hr access but indoor handgun only. I am on the NE side of the river so as long as it's only a long-gun I can handle a transfer for you. I charge $25 Vermillion and Yankton both have outdoor ranges. Other than that I just blast at a friends house by Jefferson or public grounds by the river by Elk Point. If you are an IA resident and need a handgun I can put you in touch with a couple different Sioux City kitchen table dealers. |

Exit 18 west towards river when the road turns north you turn south follow a goat trail and you will run into an area where there are little ponds and sand bars leading down to the river.
Quite a few places along the river are public. Not real good to be playing there durring deer hunting season. Also duck hunters typically don't like machineguns fire. |
