Hey all, we're having a Kentucky shoot at the Knob Creek gun range, just outside of Louisville, KY Oct. 28th. Just wanted to let the Tennessee members in range here know about it, and let you all know you are welcome to attend.

Just for clarification: This is not the biannual KNOB CREEK MACHINEGUN SHOOT, this is just an Ar15.com Hometown Forum get together. The regular infamous biannual Knob Creek Machinegun shoot is October 13th, 14th, and 15th. Our AR15.com KY Hometown Forum get together is Oct. 28th. I know several folks have been confused about this, and understandably so.

I just started a new job last week and i was talking to one of the guys about taking some time off, they have been working 11 hours a day 7 days a week for about 2 months now.

He tells me he will be gone for a couple of days in Oct., I asked was he taking a small vacation and he says " im going to Kentucky to a machine gun shoot",my jaw dropped when i said Knob Creek and he said yes

I told him this is the begining of a good frienship.

I wish i could go too but im on a 90 day proby period at work

are the rentals not going to be on the lower range any more?

we're going no matter what . I was planing on bringing my M11/9 for the jungle walk any way , if I get to shoot on the lower line for $9 thats even better. I might just bring some extra toys

ETA : I was thinking of the big shoot . I'm going to it on the 14th . looks like a nogo on the 28th

The Fall Knob Creek Shoot is Oct. 13, 14, and 15.

This is a get-together shoot, using the Knob Creek facilities, correct?

I'll be at the main shoot, I won't be able to make yours.

Maybe next year. Do keep posting in the TN forum.

That is correct, sorry for the confusion.

The "Original" huge biannual Knob Creek Machinegun Shoot is Oct.13th-15th.

The Oct 28th shoot, 2 weeks later, is an Ar15.com KY Hometown forum shoot we've put together. We just wanted to invite all those in the surrounding states that were in range of the Knob Creek area. The more the merrier
