They want not only the criminals to vote, but even the illegal immigrants. Yet the soldiers who are working, fighting and dying for us will not. This is an unmistakable and unacceptable crime against our citizens.

I'm not one to usually speak out in defense of the libs, but from what i've read, I believe Cook County was one of the Illinois counties that did, in fact, mail ballots to the troops in time.
As far as the inmates being catered to, in most cases, people who are incarcerated in Cook County jail are either awaiting trial or are in for short time sentences. They aren't necessarily felons. That being said, I'm dissapointed that a judge ruled not to allow the counting of late ballots received as a result of late mailings. Our troops definitely deserve to have their votes count. |
