Take Carail Weeks. The Chicago gang member, investigators said, made two trips to Marion County gun shops to purchase weapons before he was arrested in the March 3 shooting death of 14-year-old Starkesia Reed, hit by a stray bullet as she stood inside her home in Englewood, Ill.

Time for a geography lesson, ladies and gents:
Englewood is a
neighborhood 'hood of Chicago. It is inside Chicago city limits. It is not a seperate city.
Brian Malte, legislative director for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence in Indiana, said, "There's a lot of work to do in Indiana, especially when a neighboring state like Illinois does such a better job." Gun rights advocates say tighter rules on gun sales only burden law-abiding citizens, not criminals, who will find ways to get around the restrictions.

I hate gun control groups.
gun-rights advocates argue the Second Amendment gives them an unrestricted right to bear arms.

Yep.
"Every time you pass a gun control law, the only universe of people you're going to affect are the law-abiding citizens who will follow that law," said Andrew Arulanandam, director of public affairs for the National Rifle Association. "Criminals don't follow the laws, so why pass them?"

This guy's on target(pardon the pun)
In any event, this doesn't surprise me. It's just more liberal propaganda.
