Please read this.  It is biased, backwards, and possibly published purposefully during the gun show.

If you decide to email to the writer of this article or to the editors, please be respectful, brief, and to the point.  Although it may be difficult, try not to make it sound like a rant or hateful reply.  And run spell-check for Pete's sake.  Keep in mind you are representing all law-abiding firearm owners to an already biased audience.

A gangster who bought a gun from Don's Guns used it in a crime....I am so shocked. [/sarcasm]h.gif

This is the typical monthly "OMFG GUNS KILL PEOPLE" liberal media propaganda. Nothing to see here people.

"Every time you pass a gun control law, the only universe of people you're going to affect are the law-abiding citizens who will follow that law," said Andrew Arulanandam, director of public affairs for the National Rifle Association. "Criminals don't follow the laws, so why pass them?"

So what else is new?

Take Carail Weeks. The Chicago gang member, investigators said, made two trips to Marion County gun shops to purchase weapons before he was arrested in the March 3 shooting death of 14-year-old Starkesia Reed, hit by a stray bullet as she stood inside her home in Englewood, Ill.

Time for a geography lesson, ladies and gents:

Englewood is a neighborhood 'hood of Chicago.  It is inside Chicago city limits.  It is not a seperate city.

Brian Malte, legislative director for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence in Indiana, said, "There's a lot of work to do in Indiana, especially when a neighboring state like Illinois does such a better job."
Gun rights advocates say tighter rules on gun sales only burden law-abiding citizens, not criminals, who will find ways to get around the restrictions.

I hate gun control groups.

gun-rights advocates argue the Second Amendment gives them an unrestricted right to bear arms.

Yep.

"Every time you pass a gun control law, the only universe of people you're going to affect are the law-abiding citizens who will follow that law," said Andrew Arulanandam, director of public affairs for the National Rifle Association.
"Criminals don't follow the laws, so why pass them?"

This guy's on target(pardon the pun)

In any event, this doesn't surprise me.  It's just more liberal propaganda.

Brizzi said. "I'm pro-Second Amendment, but we don't want the criminals to have the guns."

Here's an idea, KEEP ALL THE CRIMINALS IN JAIL!

I think this is the same idiot I called a while back after he said that a SKS and AR-15 were the same and fully automatic.  He bacame very rude and irate after I asked him how much research he did for  his "work". For some reason he doesn't put his phone number with his story propaganda any more.

Edited for my terrible typing skills

It's not your fault. Unfortunately this kind of propaganda gets published about once a year or so. The problem is Chicago is full of thugs but they don't want to do anything about it, so in conspiracy with liberal Indiana politicians, media, gun control groups, etc. they put out this kind of nonsense. Obviously gun control has worked so well in Illinois.

Dirty dealin' pimp daddy don.... go figure.... You know who I feel sorry for? The kids that can't fully partake in thier 2nd Ammendment rights responisbly because of legislation restricting it. Thank you liberal propagandists... you're the same reason my girlfriend gets hit on by 35-40 year old guys in fubu with "bling" the size of a manhole cover. They sit back "damn you so fine
I bet yo ass spreads like butta the ever classic I'd like a side o dat, wut's yo numba baby" It's even funnier when they threaten to bust a cap in my ass with a 9..... yeah been shot at 5 times you can't hit me with your 9 sideways... from a rolling vehicle. Boy some days I wonder if it'd really be worth the jail trip just to beat the stupid outta some people. But as the ever classic Larry The cable Guy puts it, "Ye just can't fix stupid"  What ever happened to life like it was in Mayberry? Can't go through Indy without feeling like I'm on some sick episode of some degenerate show on MTV or BET. Can't wait to get my land out west.

I refuse to buy the Red Star anymore. I read Colts stuff online and thats it. Fuck 'em. I have traded emails with Dennis Ryerson the new editor in the past which was a waste of time. He is ethicly bankrupt. I did make the mistake of reading it once (well maybe more) tanked up and saw the picture of a columnest named Matt Tulley and wrote him an email telling him his picture made him look like a, and I quote "Pole Smoker leaning in for a smooch from Brad Pitt".  He replied that Brad was out of his league.

Apparently I don't have a criminal mind.  I don't see how you can buy a firearm on a fake ID?  Oh, wait, you completely pretend to be someone else and furnish all their info?  So this was effectively identity theft for the purpose of purchasing guns?

...but...but...I thought NICS was supposed to keep guns away from criminals...are you saying they've found a way to circumvent it?  Who'da thunk it.

How come they fail to mention how they are keeping the Chicago Gang members out of our state?
And I was at the 1500 gun show and I saw no Gangbangers or Taliban!
Don just loves to sell guns!  I spoke to him and used his range w/my AR on lunch monday.  He sends his best!

I've gone to the 1500 god knows how many times since I moved here. I bought my first AR15 parts kit from JT Distributing in the 9th grade there, my father bought a stripped lower I got a book and went to a more gun literate buddy of mine and we slapped it togeether never had a problem with it. And in all them years I would look around not only at the weapons but at the people that would attend. Well some people just kinda stick out, a big white down jacket "bling" and a hat with a flat bill turned sideways isn't your typical Indy 1500 gunshow atendee. I didn't grow up in the best parts of town and can generally spot the types that are or want to be.

I'm not trying to stereotype I just call it like I see it and I still remember the way a lot of the ones who have shot at me look like. I don't know why anyone thinks a 9mm is the best round in the whole wide world for shooting sideways.
