Ammo prices way too high!  I did find a chinese 7.62 75 round drum in the plastic including tax for $132.  The only other gut wanted $200 out of the wrapper.  He may have to eat it for dinner by the time someone buys it.  Other than that I did not see much.

My tax return showed up in my checking account this morning, so I took it as "a sign from God himself" and spent a good portion of it. however,

just got back from the show...ammo prices were outrageous i thought. portuguese 762x39 brass case  $250 for 1k. i bought that stuff last year for $105.  some guy was trying to sell wolf for 180.

i did end up getting a A.R.M.S. 40 rear sight for 95 bucks not a bad deal.

Did anybody see any of the Norinco shotguns at the show?  I belive they make a few Remington knock offs, a Trench gun and a couple of others.   Price?  I want to go but I've got the 3yr old this weekend.  I'm afraid that I'd have to tape his arms down to his sides to avoid an incident.

Just got back a little while ago. Here is my report. Ammo selection, and quantity sucked ass. However, one of the group I was with got a pretty fair deal on a Vecter underfolder AK. Another in the group bought a Benelli Cordoba 12g autoloader for $1300 which is fair, fair price. I on the other hand I  bought some cashews, and chocolate covered pretzels. DAMMIT All I want is a good selection of ammo, is that too much to ask.

It's been like that for a while now, where you been?

I personally did'nt bother this time around. There will be another one in a few months. Remember when the 1500 happened only twice a year? Those were the best shows.

I was there Sat. and forgot to go back and pick a couple up before I left.

Thanks

I bought some Avon, almonds, candy, beef jerky, a 5 foot sword, 2 toy pellet guns, wallet & a purse.  I tried to find some Bennie Babies but had no luck.  I love flea markets

That was too funny!  It does suck having people renting tables to bring out flea market type shit.

Friday, I got 1000 rds of Federal XM193 boxed for $206.00. I thought that was a pretty good price. Now I wish I would have bought 2000.

I was there Friday and spend most of my time there helping Jigga (Joe Hardesty of Acme Sports) at his table.

I didn't spend much money which was fine, but I always enjoy going either way.

South African .308 battle packs were well priced at $23 each, the guys from Dayton had it.

Also picked up 100 .410 slugs for $30, priced the same as standard bird shot .410 ammo.

I did see a few sweet deals on shotguns, last thing I needed, but I hope soemone found the 20 gauge 1100 I saw for around $350.

Did you sell it?

This show was definitely better than the last one.  That could be because I was only looking for  parts, but I got everything I wanted.

The targets were just shoot me.  They have a website but it is currently under construction.

As far as the show, I didn't find a lot I could not do without.  I bought some of the roasted nuts and a box of girlscout cookies.  Then me and a couple buddies split 3 bottles of tannerite.  It was kind of high  $10ea  or 3 for $25, but we have been wanting to get some and we figured we'd try it out before we dropped the cash for a whole case.  I sold my mimi 14 right when I walked in the door.  The PD no sooner put the tie through the action and a guy was asking about it.  I wanted $400, but I settled for $350.  He got a good deal becasue it was pristine!  Less than 500 rounds went through the pipe, Synthetic stock/stainless.  Oh well.  Now I can use that for my Eotech!!  No sence in having the mini sit in the safe...

Once again I'm glad I did not make the drive. That show just seems to get worse and worse while the cost to go there increases.

I tried and tried to find a rock river lower but never did.  That was really the only thing I was looking for.
I saw the Israeli winchester 223 for about $210 a thousand.  I thought about buying some of the 223 from gutamala but figured at 18 cents a round I should just spend the extra 3 cents get new production.  As luck would have it, I didnt end up getting either:)

I also bought a Pelican case.  I wish I would have picked it up first.  The empty case feels like it weighs 30 pounds.

I thought the gun show was a success!  I left with a new RRA AR15 flat top receiver with R4 barrell bought from Law Enforcement Firearms.  Got a Trijicon ACOG scope as well:)
I just visited Premier Arms in Brownsburg tuesday and bought his last Hogue AR grip.
He's got a great shop.

It probably does. They are heavy, but guess they would have to be. Lifetime warranty and water tight is what interested me. I got the 1720 and had enough room to make a spot for my C-Mag.
