Our own Chicobrownbear is in Japan with his wife and son. I know his father in law and will try to get some infromation on his whereabouts. I pray Jared and his wife are OK. They are from right here in Scott County, and they are good people from good families. If anyone has any info please post it here.

Good news.......I got in contact with Chicobrownbear on Facebook. He and his family are safe in Okinawa.

Doing well. We got a 30 cm tsunami here on Okinawa.  Lower lying Marine Corps facilities were evacuated temporarily, but the sea walls here are 15 or so feet tall, if not s bit taller.  

Sendai, as I'm sure you guys have seen on the news, is a very different story.  It is really bad up there, much worse than I think most people could get their heads around.  

Not sure where Larsonus is posted, but if he is DOD personnel we have all been accounted for.

Looks like the situation is worsening at the nuclear plant.  Bad news.
