Im so jealous of you free people that arnt under the ASW ban anymore. I cannot express my dismay of after looking foreward to the ban sunsetting for the past year only to find out that NY had its own rights infringement in place. ..h
2) I know nothing about shipping through FFLs. It sounds like a pain, but its easier to find a receiver on the EE than localy. How much paperwork money and time is involved?? Can any gun dealer do this??

I find it ironic asking these questions in a country that gaurantees the right to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed

Answers:

1. Probably. If it's a Colt AR15 receiver, definitely. If another brand, probably OK but not certain if you buy it as a stripped lower whether it stays preban.

2. FFL receipt is not too much of a pain, expect to pay in the neighborhood of $25 for the service. Where in NYS are you located?

If you are in the Ithaca area and need an FFL for the transfer, drop me an IM.
