I was talking to a complete stranger yesterday, and he was telling me the cost of plates are going up the first of the year.  Welcome triple digits.  He also said Motorcycle plates were going up to the same price.  Can anyone confirm this??  If I have to pay 200++ for insurance and 100++ for plates to ride a couple hundred miles it just aint worth it.  He said it was to make up for the loss in gas tax revenue, but the local rag said 2 days ago that was a no go.hinking.gif

After implying that the state needed to do something about high gas prices, Gov. Blowbagofshit decided the state couldn't survive without the $$$, and blamed Bush for the problems. Way to reach across party lines and be a uniter, Rod.

Anybody else remember this dipshit's campaign promise that the state's finances were going to improve once we brought the budget process into the light of day?
