Well I'm officially a PA resident now.
Came up on July 26th after I sold my MD home.
Went yesterday and got my new drivers license and then to the shop and picked up a Glock 34.
Got to take it home the same day.
What a concept!!

Congrats Ron.  Glad you've finally gotten settled in up in a "free" state.  You gonna make it to any of our MD shoots at all or are you gonna be too busy dumping 30 round mags and Beta-C mags up in PA to come down?

Mil - I will try to make a shoot if you all can get a date set.
I know how hard it is to get a bunch of Marylanders to think the same.

BBQ - all I can think of is "oh well"
I have to work on finding a place up here to have a get-to-gether.
         Will see ya all later.

Congrats Ron. Just think you can get a CCW by just walking in to the Sheriffs offices and filling out an application, Done. Good luck with the new house. Where did you buy again, Pittsburg? Hope all its well.

I'm assuming the collar we Marylanders wear around our necks didnt blow off your head off when you crossed the border?

I'm in the Johnstown area. Just out side of Westmont.

As for the collar, I dropped it off at the border.
I figured some poor unknowing soul would be heading the wrong way soon.

I forgot to add this before.

Since I am now a member of the PA crew.

Congrats. Hope you can find it in your heart to grace us with your presence at the range from time to time still.

It sure is... I highly recommend you walk the streets of Philly with your open carry. They think very highly of it. Gotta love cities that think their states.

Well here is another one for you guys.
Last night a new one arrived.
Bushmaster BAR10 308, 16" bbl, Izzie brake.
Walked into the shop - filled out the papers - waited on the phone call - paid and took it home.
I decked it out last night with the Trijicon TR21-R on the Armalite mount and added a bi-pod.
I would show you a pic, but I'm on my way to the range to try it out.

Will have to see what this thing will do.

PS - two weekends ago I attended my first AR15/FALFILES shoot and had a blast.
These guys do it right. It was a campout. Come in Friday evening and leave Sunday afternoon.
I am not prepared for the camping part, so I went down Saturday morning and shoot the day with them. Full auto's included M14, M16, Tommygun, Reising and several other.

So are you closer, farther or about the same distance from Elk Neck?

A lot further.
I"m in Johnstown which is about 65 miles East of Pittsburgh.
It's just over 3 hours from Glen Burnie to here.

I will get some pics up tomorrow on the new toy.
Shoots great. I will have to work on the off-hand though.
Moves around more than the AR15.
